Mary’s new album is projected to shift around 300 to 350 thousand copies, a fata** sells weak by this year’s urban music standards. With artist like Rihanna, Mariah, Alicia Keys and Chris Brown only selling fractions of there previous albums first week, 300 thousand is certainly a blessing.
Mary’s last album “Growing Pains” charted a first week of 600,000 plus back in 07. MJB has a habit of releasing an album the week of Christmas, a habit she picked up and has been cuttin up with since 2005′s “Breakthrough”(700k+)…

Rihanna got off to a slow start with “Rated R” but the album has been consistantly selling around 180 copies each week since release. The radio success of “Hard” has enabled this and I’m proud of her but hustling as hard as she has been these past couple months to promote this album!
If you have it, you know it’s arguably her best album yet. She’s finally becoming an artist. COP IT IMMEDIATELY!!!

Busta Rhymes has had a year to remember. As previously reported, after the release of his Back On My B.S. album, he was hit with a $75,000 lawsuit for assault.
Now leaving the B.S. behind in 2009, he’s preparing toreintroduce the world to his home team of rap lyricists.
While not releasing specific details Busta revealed that he was in studio with what he calls a “new Flipmode.” He tweeted about his new squad to his 130,000 plus followers saying:
“The new flip mode is in the studio right now!!!!!! Stay tuned!!!!!”
Particularly excited about the resurrection, he also made sure to add.
“Damn when I tell you the new decade 2010 is gonna be frightening, mark my word!!”

What upcoming projects are you working on and what plans do you have for music and yourself in 2010?
Mario’s Answer:
Well, I have a 3 single release with an internet radio station HotMix106.com in Sacramento, CA. They have over 5 million listeners daily. I’m also doing some major productions for artists such as Aubrey from the dismantled Danity Kane, Flo Rida, Jeremy Amelin, and I also have a track my contact wants to send to Justin Timberlake or Jay Sean. Big things are possibly gonna happen in 2010. And hopefully I can get signed to a publishing company as a producer. Basically, its a lot of work to be done.

Mariah’s new, as yet-untitled Remix album is set for release on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.
We have previously confirmed collaborations with Ne-Yo (“Angels Cry” Remix) and Nicki Minaj (“Up Out My Face” Remix), and now, we can also reveal that other artists such as Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, R. Kelly, K-Ci & JoJo, Big Boi, Trey Songz and Fabolous will all be featured in the new Remix album.
We are told by label insiders that this album will be treated like a brand new project including promotional appearances. Mariah is scheduled to film her appearance on VH1 Storytellers in early January and the album’s title and final track listing are expected to be announced next week.
